THE TOYMART.COM LTD SERVICE
On your behalf, we carefully photograph, describe and list your toys on our site, including where appropriate, as single items for auction. Your collection will be given its own unique reference number on the site (e.g. v123) which will enable you to track its progress via the internet whilst maintaining your anonymity.
Your collection will be held on our secure premises and insured for the minimum agreed sale value.
On purchase of your items we carefully pack your toys (at the buyer’s expense) and despatch them to their destination.
Sellers fees are based on the value of each lot sold: Up to £10.00 = 25% £11.00 to £50.00 = 20% £51.00 to £150.00 = 15% £151.00 and Over = 10% VAT will be charged on the commission only.
There is no charge for unsold lots unless the reserve is set above our recommendation.
Sending your items to us for auction:
COMMISSION SALE AGREEMENT
In order for us to progress your sale through ToyMart.com Ltd we will require an agreement to be signed by you. This agreement is to ensure that all concerned understand what they are undertaking when selling through ToyMart.com Ltd. Ensure that you enclose a signed copy of the Agreement with the items you are sending to us. Please read it carefully. Definitions Lot An individual or group of toys being sold by ToyMart on behalf of the client. The Client may have one or more Lots for sale at any one time Proprietor ToyMart.com Ltd, ToyMart House, Bilting Farm Business Centre, Canterbury Road, Bilting, Kent TN25 4HF Toys Means the items that the client is selling through ToyMart.com Ltd
AGREEMENT
This contract lays out the obligations between ToyMart.com Ltd and the client named below with respect to the selling of the clients own possessions through the ToyMart.com Ltd website.
1. ToyMart agrees to take all reasonable care of the client’s property and will ensure that it is fully insured whilst at the proprietor’s premises. We will be fully responsible for the safe keeping of your items once we accept delivery of them. 2. The proprietor and the client will agree a minimum price of sale for each lot. The proprietor agrees not to sell a lot to a third party for less than this price, unless the client specifically agrees to this. 3. Information regarding the progress of a clients sales will be available on the ToyMart web site. 4. If the client decides not to sell their toys, the proprietor will return them insured and well packaged but at the clients cost. 5. The client will not be able to stop the sale of items if they have been sent to auction under any circumstances. 6. Unsold lots will be automatically re-listed in the next auction at the same minimum and if still unsold, the lot will then be listed a third time with no minimum (reserve) unless other arrangements are made. 7. ToyMart.com Ltd reserves the right to place bids on behalf of non-internet bidders and itself on any lots. 8. The proprietor will forward monies due to the client as soon as possible after the client’s toys have been sold. This will normally be no later than 6 weeks after completion of the actual sale. However, in exceptional circumstances the payment may be made in two parts. The first payment when approximately half of the clients toys have been sold, followed by a final payment when all items have been sold.
By following these simple rules, we are sure we will have a fruitful, friendly and profitable transaction.
